One of the Midlands leading independent lift engineering companies are currently seeking a qualified Lift Modernisation Engineer to support them in a key area of their business covering projects across the Midlands and beyond. As a Modernisation Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • Leading and overseeing lift modernisation projects to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable lifts
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to coordinate and execute modernisation plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of lift modernisation projects
  • Liaise with clients and customers to communicate project updates and ensure their needs are met
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the modernisation process
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members during the modernisation project

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A background in lift engineering, in either service, callouts or repairs
  • NVQ Level 3 is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectively liaising with clients, customers, and internal teams
  • In-depth knowledge of lift systems, regulations, and industry standards
